getting others access to vb.org site

i have partners that help me with my VB site.. i'm trying to find how to properly get them access to vB.org to help me things. what is the proper process to get them access under my license.
right now i need other person, potentially 2.

You need to enter their emails in your members area over on vb.com. Then, they need to register here using those *exact* emails.

ok i added his address, but he is already registered...
he confirmed and is still showing as unlicensed.
