HTML within post format question

Hi guys,

I am trying to post a message on my forum with a simple html table containing thumbnails to direct people to the cool threads.
It almost works as expected apart from the huge space I am getting between the top of the message and thumbnails.
I don't have it when I try to edit the post but then , once saved it is back :(
