Installed it on a 4.0.0 install and it works.
Only problem I have is that the timestamp doesn't show. So new posts show as 'last post: today', not as 'last post: today 14:53'. If a user edits his post the time isn't displayed either. So it show as 'Last edited by username; today at'
If I select the default vB 4 style the time shows ok.

what could be the cause of this? Version conflict or error in the XML-file?

I have that problem too. If you mouse over the area where the timestamp should be, you can see it. The color is set wrong.

No. 4.01.

@djbaxter: good find! I didn't notice that.

Edit:
Could this be stylevar "time_color" ? (line #1044 in xml-file)

454SS
01-25-2010, 10:26 AM
Another strange thing I'm having is that the footer color changes on the 'what's new?'-page. See also attached screenshot. The left is the normal/correct one, the one on the right is from the 'what's new?'-page.

454SS

Could this be stylevar "time_color" ? (line #1044 in xml-file)
Yes it is, it's under 'common' when you look at the Style in the admincp.

The color in "time_color" is set to 'ffffff', I changed it to '777777'. Now it's better. Maybe this was overlooked when the skin was created?

While I was at it I changed "notices_background" to rgb-value 200 220 240. Goes much better with this skin than the default yellow.;)

Edit:
What's left is the footer-issue. I couldn't find the correct var to fix this. I'm using Firefox, but in MSIE it's the same.
It shows when a user is logged in and there are no unread messages, then you get an option to search for posts of the last 24 hours. There's where you see the changed footer-color.

Bare in mind that this 'fix' will mess up the time-color in the footer as a side-effect.

There's a 'footer_time' in the xml-file. I can't find it in the stylevars, is this correct?

What was updated?

All skins that weren't updated to 4.0.1 were updated today. Fixed version had a margin error which we corrected. Some minor color adjustments were made. Bluehaze is relatively simple and does not need much editing.

Also the header gap is way to big. Or you should have instructions on the main page letting users know how to change it. Because not a lot of them know how. Also I found out that the 1px in Navigation_Tab_Bevel makes the tabs look out of alignment with the bar its self. So removing the 1px fixes that issue.

In 4.0.2 you need to fix the time color in the footer. Its too dark. You can fix that with style var - footer_time_color - Also you have some html issues with the footer. You have some nesting issues with the <strong> code and an extra </a> - I remove them and all issues are now fixed.

Got it,

This may not come as much of a surprise, but this is, again, a problem with vBulletin 4.

The problem, after a ton of time spent looking through the code, is actually in the latest update.

It's listed as the biggest issue (among many) for vBulletin 4.1.10.
https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/391242-Common-Issues-Latest-Release-4-1-10

We have implemented the fix. Please download and re upload.

TalkTemplate is right.

Alternatively, there is also a simple option in your stylevars that you can change that will fix this as well.

TalkTemplate - is that the only change that was made to the new release? If I've fixed the scrollbar problem through my Stylevars, do I still need to install this update?
