View Full Version : help with linking acp forum home link

hi, im having trouble linking the home page link in the acp to the actual forum home page, the link goes to www.$$$$****.com/.php (http://www.$$$$****.com/.php) also the the link in the navbar and the clicklink in the banner also link's to .php
I know it's going to be somthing stupid that ive over looked but ive been staring at the screens since vb went gold and im kinda going round the bend lol
Please dont slate me like i said it's prob a silly oversite, im prity sure i had changed the link earlier today but tbh ive done that much it's all blurred in to one :eek:
If any of you kind people could help me out with this i will be very greatful

AdminCP > Settings > Options > Site Name/URL/Contact Details ?

ive tried that one several times with different combos as that was my first guess but it does not seem to make a difference

URL should be: http://www.site.com if your forum is in the root folder.
If it is other folder then it should be: http://www.site.com/otherfolder

nope nada even if i totaly change the url in there it just does not make a difference, im going mad

Make a new style ... without any parent style ... and see if you still have this issue.

nope added new skins one with a parent one with out just to make sure and still have the problem no matter what combernation i put in to the site Site Name/URL/Contact Details it still dont make a difference, ive even tried it with a trailing / just to see what would happen, im getting no error msgs when i confirm the changes it just dont work :-(

Make a new style ... without any parent style ... and see if you still have this issue.
