For some reason it is not displaying in my Admin CP. I see it nowhere on the left side. Where is it supposed to be at ???

If I install the new Gold, will it correct the 4.0 Beta 4 and show up??

It only shows in ACP if it is enabled in Plugins and Products => Manage Products

Unless you paid for it, you will not get it. It is part of the VB Publishing Suite. Sounds like you have the Forums only as I do. Try here and read through the Documents (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/content.php?150-Getting-Started-with-CMS-Documentation-Files-28PDF-29)

Yeah, I just have the forums.

So in order for me to get the CMS Home Page, I need to pay the $195 fee just to get the Publishing Suite.

I used to use the CMPS with the 3.xx Versions and was wanting that same thing again. However, I don't see paying $195 for it ... guess I am SOL ... LOL

Bingo!

or you can go to www.vbadvanced.com and wait for the Updated Free Script that is super duper neato stuff ;)

Seriously Brian has a very good CMS wrapper for VB you should check it out. He has yet to release the VB4 gold version but I suspect it will be soon....

Thanks. I just love the layout of the old CMPS. It really makes a front page a front page ya know. I will keep checking over there. I am sure he will have something by the first of the year.

Yes Brian is pretty good about getting things right. He is committed to the CMPS first then Links then Dynamics per his communications. I like what VB as done with the CMS portion, but I refuse to pay for it, I got burned on the Blog as well, I payed for it and now it is obsolete not compatible with 4.0. I mean I just got a new job at half my normal salary, I have not worked since Jan 9 and I just flushed that Blog Payment down the toilet. Kind of pissed me off  I updated my license for VBblog because my site then was starting to take off, so in may or June or July I renewed. Then The bottom fell out of my life and had to sell off my cameras the truck and a motorcycle to keep the bank away from my home. Because my site was a news source and I used the blog for articles. I shut it down, no camera and no way to get to the races because no truck....
