Hi
I have a reseller account shared hosting running my forum. Last night my webhost shut me down for sending more than 500/email in an hour. Funny part is that I didn't even sent an email! I guess these are daily subscription emails that gets sent out at midnight :(
Now, they(server host) suggested that I should "throttle my email" so that I don't send out more than 500/hour.
What should I do? What can I do? I need to do something ASAP. I tried looking in admincp and email options. I did turn on the "mail queue" system and set the "number of emails to send per batch" to 2 (not sure if this is correct). They also suggested that I need a cron job (no clue what it is)
Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks
