Only showing custom field in postbit and NOT in profile

I have been working on this MOD (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=218327) for a while now and I can't seem to figure out how to make the field not show up on the users profile, but only show up in the postbit (postbit legacy).

Please post your ideas even if you don't think they will work.

Are you creating a User Profile Field? Check what you have set for Display Page.

I want the users that are able to use this profile field to be able to edit it when they go to their User CP, but I do not want it to display when they or someone else visits their profile.
Ex.:

I do not want the field to display right there. I want it hidden when viewing their profile.

Then you can't have it on that page. If it is on there, then it will show to other users. You can make it a private field and then it will only be viewable by those the user gives permission to.

Is there a way I can make the field non-editable when viewing the profile like that?

The problem I am having is that user groups that do not have permission to edit this field in their user CP can edit it VIA viewing their profile as soon above. Is there a way I can keep that from happening?

Nevermind! Haha! I'm not very bright. If you put the Profile Field in edit options it will not display on your profile. Why did I not think of that? I don't know.
