Move and host forum?

Hey. I have a vbulletin-license and pay like $100 per month for my webhotell but I probably want to close the forum down, not allowing new posts but still there is tons of material that is interesting.

So I have a few questions
1) Its kinda easy to transfer the forum as long as the new place has a mysql-stuff :S?
2) Is there any sites that offer forumtransfers?
3) Can I ask someone to host a part of the forum for payment?
4) Any other suggestions for me :S(?

2. if your current site has cpanel & the new 1 does, it can be transferred easy.. most host will help as well

I mean like, forumer.com or so. Like if there is anyway to get a cheap webhost-alternative.
