Cherry Tango 4.0.0 Patch Level 1

I'll support this skin to the best of my abilities.

Install:

1. Upload the 2 "images" folders to your forum root and overwrite. (Due to the 2mb upload limit, I've had to split the images between 2 .zip files.
misc+statusicon.zip & cms+editor_images.zip
2. Go to your Admin CP>Styles & Templates>Download / Upload Styles and browse your PC for the file "CG69.Cherry.Tango.xml" select it and click Import, if you are using a different version to VB4.0.0 RC2 then you will need to select "Ignore Style Version".

Optional:

3. If you want the page selection menu arrows (These will be Red on this style) http://www.hostmypics.org/pictures/5045710cc721e3cd3bf14ad2b18b2c3f.png (http://www.hostmypics.org/) to match the skin, you will need to upload the folder "pagination" WARNING this will affect every style as there is no option for the "pagination" image path in the Stylevars.

Please remember to click Mark as Installed if you use this Style.

**UPDATE**

Updated to 4.0.0 PL1

A few other changes that have been made are the [CODE] box background colour changed. Also changed is the Sticky Thread Background, were I've added a gradient to break the colours up a little bit.

If you already have this style installed on your forum, then you only need to upload the "gradients" folder located in cms+editor.zip to your root/images and upload the xml via "Styles & Templates> Download / Upload Styles".

If it's a fresh install extract all the zip's and upload to your server, maintain the file structure at all times.

MMMmmmmm installed but not all the images working
It kept the xmas background and most of the theme

All that changed was the icons and the banner ?
Any ideas to why, I didnt have to overwrite as they all in own folder callled "ct"

The images for The Cherry Tango skin, should be located in

root/images/ct/

when you look inside the folder ct on your FTP you should see 4 folders

1. cms
2. editor
3. misc
4. statusicon

It should look like this on your FTP.

Then just upload the .xml via your Admin CP.

i have intalled nice work and for us great style but i have some trouble with blog and CMS

forum has the Tango style but blog and CMS has default vb 4 style

all files uploades on forum/images/ct

I made this post in another thread.

To change style on CMS, go to the CMS page, were it says "Home" hover your mouse over that and you will see a pencil icon, click it and then select the style for the CMS.

The images paths are all set correctly. I've installed it on a test forum from scratch myself and it's working perfectly

If you are having problems with the skin, delete it, make sure all your files are uploaded correctly and re install the .xml

I have been a Vbulletin owner since Dec. 20th. Almost finished setting up my Forum before I actually start to let people know about it.

Just wanted to say that your Cherry Tango and your Apple Tango skins are awesome! I'm going to install your original (Orange) Tango in the next day or two. I marked both as installed and gave you a 5 star rating on both.

Just noticed a small minor detail. In both the Cherry and Apple Tango styles, the Forum descriptions are in white letters for any Forum that breaks down into sub Forums.

Also, I can not get the Home page to change to any style other than the default style. Not only with your styles, but any other one that I have. Is this a bug with Vbulletin 4.0 Gold?

I saw your previous post where you explained how to do it. Where you hover the cursor over the Home page and a pencil appears and you click on it. Not sure exactly what you were referring to. I've looked in several places in the Admin CP. I want my Forum Users to be able to select whatever style they choose and have that style displayed for the Home Page and every other page. As the saying goes, A picture is worth 1000 words. :)

After looking at the screenshot, I had no problems getting the Home Page to display the style that I wanted.

Here is a screenshot of the minor problem:

All of the Forum descriptions are red except for the Items for Sale description. That one breaks down into sub forums. I have a few other Forums that breaks down into sub forums and the descriptions are in white letters as well.

Looking forward to the updates for Apple tango and the Orange tango! At this time of year, you are probably busy enough as it is! :D Keep up the good work! :cool:

this is in grey can u change this in red ? in the moment u only see the icons

then when everyone have posted in my Page (guestbook) so is the Poster name in an grey Header can u switch this too in red ?

Then when i will made an entry in other Profilpage (guestbook), the type color is the same black so u write blind entrys xD

Just wondering for the forum new and old statusicons if you would happen to have a blank one available to use? We have some card images we would like to add to the icons but would need a psd with layers if possible, or just a blank one without the red image in it.

I've had some major issues with my PC over the past few days, and have had to use an old HDD to get my PC working again.

As far as I ca remember the statusicons should be in an editable .png format, allowing you to delete the red file layer.

If not post back here and as soon as I've recovered my drive I'll upload the images.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Got the buttons figured out. One small problem we are having is on the settings page (usercp). The left column for some reason is down an inch or two and so far I cant see anything that we may have installed that is causing this, all usercp templates have not been touched or changed. This is what it looks like now:

It's a fault of mine, I'm just trying to fix it as we speak, I've also got the sidebar colours to match, so hopefully will have an update for you soon.

I havn't managed to fix the issue of the sidebar being dropped but I've fixed the colour issue.

Thanks, the side bar color appeared but the gap is still there using the new xml. Using firefox, will check with a couple of other browsers.

Okay, everything is fine now. Dont know why but after uploading the new xml the gap was still there,, but I deleted the style and uploaded it again and its all good now.

i have some questions. I didn?t know is my Firefox or is an Style Problem.

We use all ur Stlye (Appel and 1st Tango(orange)) and there isn?t the problems.

1st. the User in Postbit with have admin Status (like me) looks in Firefox and IE 8 so:

It'll be a problem within the style, I'm having massive problems with my PC at the minute and the bad weather in the UK is affecting my internet connection, or that's what my ISP is saying anyway.

I'll get these issues rectified asap.
