how upgrade 3.8.3 to 4.0 without errors?

i upgrated to4.0 and i got a lot errors in vbcredits in my programs and im my site style..
how to upgrate to 4.0 without to get any errors in 3.8 styles and 3.8 mods or programing?

you cant,,

3.8 styles are not compatable with 4.0
and
3.x mods "most of them" are not compatable with 4.0

some mods might work, and some does, but most mods dont
and styles sertainly donot work with 4.x .
