XML error why is this?

Hi im not sure what is wrong. when i try to import a new product its giving me this error

XML Error: Not well-formed (invalid token) at Line 0

i have no idea what i did as i really havent touched anything. any help would be appreciated
This is when i try to install any product threw the admin pc, its never happened before

Are you maybe trying to import a zip file?

Or you are importing a plugin via the product page or a product via the plugin page.

nope :) the instructions told me to do that and i also uninstalled one of my mods and reinstalled it just to make sure. and i cannot add anything threw the project manager its so weird, and i really need a few things on. couldent even install the one i removed back on it wont let me

Doing a search here shows a few people who have had the error, but only one person posted back after they got it fixed:
Thankyou for your help, i have established that the problem was caused by faulty unzipping of the files.

Hope this helps others who have a similar problem.

So, have you tried redownloading it and unzipping it again? (It wasn't clear if he meant the vb files were faulty (we had him redownload them and reupload them) or if it was the modification file that was faulty.)
