Problem updating similar threads

Hi all !

I never updated similar threads and yesterday tried to do it for the first time....
I got stuck in the middle, then started over again.... took too long and went sleep.
In the morning was stuck in the middle of the proccess again (blank page after 50.000 threads done). Started again this morning and stucked again.

Tried first with 100 threads each time and then 500 threads per page.

Any hint for this problem?

Don't start over again at the beginning. Just continue from where you are - misc.php?do=updatesimilar&startat=xxx&perpage=yyy (I think it's something like that - you can see it in the url if you Open frame in new Tab.

One more question, i think i've discovered the problem: i had about 60k showthread pages before installing vb enterprise translator. After installing it, i have now about 3 million showthread pages....
I think the problem should be this..... it never ends...

Took 12 straight hours but its done! ;)

I would suggest tweaking of your mysql settings, sounds like you dont have enough ram allocated to a few settings of my.cnf sort_buffer etc
