Whereby you don't want to ban someone because they would just re-register using another email address / ISP, that allows that person to post, but the posts are invisible to everyone else?

Look under the banning options for tachy goes to coventry.

excellent stuff Lynne, it's changed now to 'global Ignore;, but works a treat.
