Board of the Month

What's going on with that now?

I think someone needs to be hired (as in given a special rank, not paid) into the position to do the board of the months and manage them. I actually liked those competitions, and it's a shame to see that they're all locked and are poorly managed.

If someone needs to be hired to do this, I'd love to do it, as well as many other members on this site would. So you guys don't have an excuse not to find someone. :p

I finally get my board looking good and wham!!!. No BOTM...

Well... It's not that there is "No BOTM..."
It's been stated by vB.org Staff personnel that people are busy and have other things going on in their regular lives that sometimes they cannot give a dang about vB.org BOTM.

That was a bit of a paraphrase - but actually the vB.org Board of the Month competition is now actually a conundrum in itself, as the BOTM is now every TWO months. The reason given for that fiasco is that the .org Staff is too busy and apparently noone on the Staff has time to fool around with the Board of the Month competition.

I myself personally said, "Poppycock!" -- But as it is - vB.org BOTM is laughable.

@ Scalemotorcars - If you are looking for cheap and tacky way to plug your forum - then BOTM would certainly be the way. But if you are looking for a realistic form of promoting your site = look elsewhere ;)

As I'm in charge of this, I haven't had time to sit down and deal with this as for the last 2 weeks i've been dealing with issue after issue with a single college application - the one that I want to attend. It has taken until yesterday to completely solve, and I should be able to get it up done soon.
