Graphics in Article

I know there is a way to have attached graphics in an article appear on the main CMS Front Page, but for some reason I can't get it to work. I have tried attaching graphics as well as including them as an inline image. Neither works for me. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing to enable this feature?
