The demo looks nice but I'm not able to install it on my 4.0 install.

There is no "Images" directory but only an /images -- and placing the carbon folder and files in that directory didn't install the style.

Did you Import XML to AdminCP/Styles&Templates/Download,Upload Styles? and 755 the carbon folder?

Nice work I like how the background goes through all the different category's.

Thanks, there was quite the learning curve but i wanted to do something a bit more complicated then usual to get my feet wet when im ready to design my primary board.

I was considering getting crazy and throwing an animated gif in the background for some real flare. but figured that would cause to much load. ;)

Love it. I've been looking for something like this, and even tried to play with the settings, since beta 4 for my gaming site.

Thank you!

Theres no real easy way. you can play with the style variables. Look for anything ending with "Color" and the hex code #FFC200

Let me see whats up, i actually had this problem yesterday also, except it wasn't default it was another style i downloaded from here yesterday. Definitely odd behavior.

I have updated the XML to include the correct style. I must have exported the wrong file when setting up this package. Just download the new file and reimport the xml only. no need to re upload the files.

My only problem right now with themes is there's no obvious showing of what stylevars have been changed in the adminCP like what they had in 3.X and previous (this is a VB4.0 shortcoming). That said, could I talk you into a list of what stylevars were modified so that I can fiddle with the theme abit before going live with it on my site?

I changed almost 90% or more of the style Vars including some hard coding. There is the revert feature in the vars that you can use if you remember the original hex code. its tedious but thats how i had to go about learning the new Style variables to. and yeah it really is a mess right now. well over a hundred variable and you still dont get the control you really need unless you hack the CSS itself.

I love this theme and would love to use it and is there one with green and white in it ?

Or is this the only one you have made ?

This is the only one ive made so far. i would be happy to make another variation or two of this style after RC1. it probably wont be on the top of my to do list since i dont use this on any of my forums and will have alot on my plate when vB goes gold. Really the only reason i made this style was to familiarize myself in detail with the new style Variables. but i dont have a problem making a cpl other variations in the near future.

I edited the top one before for the theme im running now, thing is my site is down because tikier likes to shut servers down over the weekend for fun with no support. Check the forum_blocks_ something i forget exactly which one it is.... heres what you do if you havent figured it out already, click the first var in the section then click the last one holding the shift button this will highlight them all allowing you to see all the style vars for that section, then go thru and look for that orange color until you find it...

Keep in mind that this is an old style built on vB4.0.0 Beta 1 I only ran this skin on a demo site for about 2 weeks And never really even got to determine if it worked on 4.0 gold, let alone later versions. Good luck, and if it still works id be interested in hearing back.

In its default state, it proved a little troublesome.

It needs some (more) work, but this is what I got after using the system default as the parent theme and then reverting everything.

Side bars and CMS where white, but with yellow text
Editor text was dark with the background, so you could not see what you were typing.

Maybe the author or someone else could update this more.

(I tried with 4.1 PL2)
