HI St5, I upgraded to RC-4 and it seems a registered user can not see others Profile youtube, Admin can see it. I followed the Demo link and your profile does not show the You tube. I pm'd you the test bot log in to see for your self. Installed though.

I can see the title, and I can hear the sound coming from the video, but the video itself is not visable.

Verified. I had video and audio working. Videos stopped showing because another mod told me to enable "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?" under Admin CP options. Disabling that again brought back the videos.

I did that too (store css as files set to NO) but found it still the same, but through more checks I found that I also had to disable the vB4:Supercharged hack which compresses .css & javascript files. It works now.

A FYI for those still having problems...

ok so I did everything it said to do, if I am on IE I get sound title and no video, on firefox i get title and a small tiny box...see screenshot attached. Now I have read through where you said to disable CSS in acp however mine was already set to no. I do not have supercharge on my site so that can't be causing the issue either. Not sure if you have updated this version or are still working on another but just a thought that may help.

You should be able to set the profile fields with default values to match your Default skin or whatever suits your board:

where option:
Field Editable by User = NO
from here You can allow user to input title and URL narrowing it down to 2 fields from user.

I dont see why you couldn't also do the same for the Title, setting the default value to something like "Favorite Video" or "My Video" etc.... narrowing the user required input to be just the YouTube URL.......

Hope this helps some of those that feel the amount of information required from the user is too Much.

Dont think there is but when we had this mod working A1 it shows a little utube video of the members choice on the left of the users profile which could be set to auto start when you viewed there profile page or set to click on to play!

there is like 4 files..
but the issue with saving css as a file is resolved for this mod..(youtube in profile)
with the fix posted above witch fixes the save file as css..

For instance, make a "YouTube" profile field category so that it would add a tab located in the member's profile, then just have a way to put a full size embed in that blank area?

How about sharing that with with us, i got same problem...regarding to a empty box displayed if user did not set youtube in profile ?


Also, if I erase profile all profile fields except 1 and 2 will this work just fine, noticed that most of users do not use this option and some of them getting confused...by me this is nice but as I mentioned...
