Hi, I have my own MMORPG and i made a forum for it, but now expanded it to a more general forum. My problem is than when my MMORPG goes offline the forum may peak to almost 500 users online, normal is around 100-130 users and it also goes a little slow above 120.

This is my forums stats:

15.000 Members
1.500 Active Members
730.000 Posts
40.000 Threads
It has been online for arround 2 years
Hacks: I have vbshout hack, ibp arcade, conquest system, YAAS, top X stats, welcome box, and some other minor code hacks.

I want to know if you think that my forum has become too large for a shared hosting, I am currently paying arround 2.50 dollars per month (two dollars and fifty cents yes ) wich offers 4 GB of storage (used 2.6) and Unlimithed bandwith per month (I use arround 1 TeraByte per month, mainly because my MMORPG game client had like 200.000 downloads lol i don't know how much the forum uses) I have unlimited bandwith because of a deal I made with my webhost.

Do you think I should upgrade to a Virtual Machine or a Full Dedicated hosting??

You can see my site here www.tierras-perdidas.com/f (Spanish) do you think its slow, average or fast?

Upgrade to a new server, or get a dedi. Wow 2.5 a month with that much members. Kidding me.

The first page load took a while, but then the subsequent pages loaded OK. If you upgrade your hosting, you are gonna pay a LOT more than $2.50 (WOW!?!?!), so if I were you, I'd put it off for as long as possible.
