Have your own custom What's Going On area now.

Z - Custom What's Going On

all options are in your Admin CP
custom title
custom textarea
no template editing needed
supports html, javascript, text, flash ... etc (DO NOT USE PHP)


Installtion:

Import z_custom_wgo.xml
Goto --> Admin CP --> Settings --> Options --> Z - Custom What's Going On and make your settings.


Remember to clicc install.

It allows you to easily create a new box in the What's Going On section on the bottom of your forumhome through the admin CP, it's a good idea actually.

Any chance you might have it rotate what it says per refresh? Like separate the comments via a semicolon or comma? Not necessary and the mod works great. I just have an idea to rotate the messages vs having them static.

I never really though about it haven't it just switch between messages since I never needed to on my site. But I can add that a few ways so yeah I can do that for you and others that may want it.

I would use that feature as well. If it could rotate through several different messages. Maybe a way to take the first 50 characters from new posts in a certain forum and rotate those? For example the last 3 posts made in forum 1 would show up in the whats going on mod.

In any case, this is a great mod with or without the modifications i listed above.
