I'm having a problem with my style. To alot of you professional stylers this is a very novice question. To me this is 2 hours work and still at level 1.

^^ my boards are not showing inside the categories, i was wondering how i would correct this (this is a vb 3 theme) So alot of vars are wrong i'm just wondering how i sort this problem out.

Any support will be greatful

In vb4, forums are displayed as unordered lists. You are trying to put a list inside a table and getting what looks like a list because you don't have all the .css included to make it look like boxes.

ok thats makes it 100x harder, ok next question would it be possible to modifiy the default theme and get everything thats working there ^^^ and wrap it around the default theme?

if so would there be any issues with the css?

If I were you, I'd just play with it. Beta is for getting familiar with the changes and deciding how you want to go about upgrading your site. So, start with a default vb4 theme and play with it to see if you can get it to display your site how you want it.

Read Don's blog here and download the StyleVar Dictionary and the Skinning guide vB4: Skinning Your Forum in 10 Easy Steps (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/entry.php?2373-vB4-Skinning-Your-Forum-in-10-Easy-Steps).

I think he has since released a couple more pdf files about styling - check his blog and articles.

I would wait then OR throw up a test site and tinker.. it has to be closed to the public though but once the style is right export it and then import once you upgrade ;).
