member status change help

i recently reset the experiance mod on activity and updated users
itsomehow changed me from admin to member, i asked for help on vbulletin.com and did the add tools.php file to make myself admin again, after i did what was explained i was admin again but most other users was changed from staff,etc to members.i updated all and it automatically just made me a member again
so i got another admin to make me admin and was all ok for half hour when it made the other admin and member and most staff member status again

i dont know why its doing this and if someone can please help ? i can give you access to anything you need to help me out as a new comer to vbulletin

FIXED

stupid error by myself,what a noob.lol

in the experiance mod it has an option to allow a promotion system, this however over rides the users group and this was promoting members from their user group to say active members

dissabled this promotion system in the experiance and seems to be working
