www or no .www problem

Users cannot stay logged in using .www but everything works fine without.

Message says that they have logged in ok then back to login page..I have used tools.php to reset cookies with no effect.

This has been covered here many times before. Either search here or search on google for how to write an .htaccess file to redirect your users from one to the other. Or set your cookie domain to be .yoursite.com (notice the period in front).

Bit slow at moment tho due to recent heart op.

check your settings in the admincp --> vbulletion options --> cookie settings and set the cookie domain .yourdomain.com & save

users will most likely have to clear cookies from their browsers & log back in after doing this.
