I am asking on behalf of a friend intrested in vbulletin. He is mainly looking for a bulletin board with shortcut keys like Ctrl + B to type in bold, Ctrl + U to underline etc. I told him vbulletin had that but he's still not sure, so he asked me to ask here if there is a set list of all these shortcuts and wanted to know if it were possible to make his own.
Sorry he's a pretty shy type, so I had to ask for him.

I have never seen a list of shortcuts posted anywhere before.

Hrm well I know from my own experiance the ctrl b, ctrl u, ctrl i, ctrl z and ctrl r all work fine. I was hoping to avoid going through php code, but if I have to search for it, it would most likely be in the vbedditor php files correct?

These aren't shortcuts for vbulletin, they are for your OS
with a MAC it's going to be the apple key + b for bold.
Maybe this will help your friend

Your VBulletin licence allows for only one board, am I correct?
If you want to run two entirely different forums you will need a separate VBulletin licence..correct?

That is a list of SOME of the keys in VB 3. In vB 4 they broke most of the AccessKeys (of course, except one that isn't listed there.. accesskey+9 = Contact Us.
Most of the other keys for the editor are mapped to most of the editing keys that are running in the OS. It isn't the OS that is doing it, it is the vBulletin Editor Javascript, but things like Ctrl-B for bold are attempted at being mapped into the editor. YMMV
