Hai.

Is it possible to hide a subforum's last post from showing on the forum index page? I would like the forum above it only to show its last post on the forum index page, not the subforum. I only want this setting for one particular forum hierarchy, is it possible?

Reason is, I have a company news & announcements forum, and as a subforum for that forum, I have a forum for staff applications in which is obviously company-related. Obviously too, I think that the general public should only be able to see the last post posted in the main forum - the company news & announcements forum - not the staff applications forum. Is there a way to do this?

Live example:
Inside eGaming Supply (http://www.egamingsupply.com/forum/#inside-egaming-supply)

Also, on a side-note, is it possible to somehow set users to only being able to view their own thread as well as superior usergroups (ie, moderator and admin threads/sticky threads)? When I set the default usergroups to only be able to view their own threads, they couldn't view my sticky threads that contain the rules and guidelines/restrictions for that forum. Any help with this as well?

If the sub-forum your speaking of is set private and accessible by certain usergroups, then for example, registered users arent going to see that last post from the sub-forum anyways, only the groups that have perms would see the last post from the sub-forum.
Ex:
Did you set the registered groups forum permissions to NO for that sub-forum?
