Using Themes

Can you use any theme with vB3.8.4 or do you have to use 3.8.4 themes? There are some really nice themes for earlier vB versions, but I dont know if they'd be compatible??

Not used vB before this week so its all new to me, and seems very confusing compared to some other forum theme installations.

It really depends on the style. Some styles have more changes than others. The best thing to do is compare the modified templates to the default templates and see if there is something new that needs to be added into the template.
