Quote notification? [Archive]

I can't seem to find a hack for quote notification via PM and/or e-mail. I've searched around a bit but I'm not seeing it anyhere.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? FWIW, I'll need a hack that is compatible with v3.8.4.

Lynne, my best guess is that when someone quotes a post of yours, you get a notice.

It's an option in the user CP to let someone get a PM, an e-mail, or both any time someone quotes one of their posts. The e-mail contains a link right to the post that is quoting the other post.

Used this for a long time on another forum. While I personally don't like it, some of my members are asking for it on my new forum.

No, not the same. This is an instant notification only of one's own post getting quoted.
