Saving Updates Problem

I am having problems with saving updates to one of my particular threads. This thread is heavily trafficked and the first post is edited often (sometimes everyday to update it's contents). It's also older (about 5 months)

For some reason, the updates do not always save. I just went back and checked, and there were about six or seven posts that I updated in the first post that did not save. This has been a recurring problem for me.

Any thoughts on this???:confused:
