oo... comon! cheaper than 3 bucks?!? cheaper than this is free! I dont know what you can do where you are with $3, but here in Italy you dont even buy a pack of cigarettes, a beer out with friends, and a daily newspaper cost 1 euro, that is $1.40 roughly...

Let me see...

These folks want me to put my forum on their network so that they can sell a product and my forum does not get to make any residuals from it?

Not a chance.

ahh man you need to have a bit more concern about ur members. all you have to do is drop a folder with in ur forum directory and update it when ever tapatalk provides an update. its not much work to it. haha i would think as a forum owner making your forum more readily accessible to ur members via a cell phone would be a top priority .

with that being said i understand the money aspect of it also. but last i checked they were working on a way for forum owners to make money from ads. check here http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=513 guess we have to wait to hear from yellowpeter if this is still in the works. *crosses fingers*

If this system get spread, you'll have to... like paypal, everybody knows that it sucks, but you have to use it and accept it because customers want to use it.
The same here, at the 10th users that ask you about implementing it, you'll do it. Period.
Just matter to see if the system starts or not...

Indeed we are working on way to let forum admin to put up a simple banners within this app, no definite time-frame but it should be done sometime this month. We will send few invites to fellow admins to beta test this feature in next 2-3 time-frame.

Unfortunately at this stage it is a bit difficult to even guestimate the time-line. Does majority of your members use the classic BB or the touch-screen one? Just curious.

I've been using this for some time. It's a nice setup, and makes browsing worlds better.

Anytime I've found a glitch/issue I've posted on their boards and they work to resolve the problem and are adding new features all the time.

Well worth it imo.

I like the idea, but I don't like that it would cost my members to use it...
