I have sections where you can only view with a post count of 15 and people are spamming to get there... I need it to stop.

Use the vbulletin promotions system and make a post + time requirement for access to that area

Use the vbulletin promotions system and make a post + time requirement for access to that area
exactly, we have a similar arrangement and just use the vbullitin promotions system.
instead of having a 15 post requirement make it 30 posts and 30 DAYS before automatic upgrades happen. we did this after having an original requirement of only 20 posts and the spamming STOPPED overnight.
also be a real bastrad and delete the offending spam posts then update the counters INCLUDING the post counts from the adminCP. that should sort em out!!
