Hi all

I am getting the following messge:

You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To download modifications and/or participate in our community. You will need to prove that you have a valid vBulletin license. To do this, go to vBulletin.com Member Support. Upon entering the support area, enter and/or verify your "Contact Email Address". For further information, please read our "Showing Up As Unlicensed?".

To protect our customers privacy you will need to Opt-In license validation for all Support Sites. You need to authorise vBulletin.org from the vBulletin.com Members' Area in order to validate your license status. You can do this at Priority Forum Support. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status.

I joined vbulletin.org about 7 weeks ago, and at that time I confirmed my licence (leased until Sept 2010). I have posted a few times, and even downloaded some mods (and marked the ones that I decided to install).

I hadn't visited the forum for a few days. When I visted today I saw the above message. Strange, I thought, but nevermind, I'll just click the link and reconfirm my licence etc.

I did that over 6 hours ago but am still getting the message. And yes, I did make sure that I was giving .org authorisation.

I sent a message via the Contact Us form here about 5 hours ago but not heard anything back.

I've cleared cookies to see if that helps.

Any suggestions?

cheers
CF

Are you using the same email here that you are using on your account over at vb.com? That email needs to be *exactly* the same.

You should put in a support ticket over at vb.com and have them look into this issue.

Thanks Lynne. I wasn't sure whether they covered this forum. I seem to OK over on vb.com - can post, etc and no message about my account coming up there.

Follow up: I don't know if someone did something or if the system finally kicked in but the problem seems to have been resolved.

Thanks Lynne for your advice

Probably not. Also that was a temporary problem that should have been resolved by now.
