Hey guys,
I currently own and operate a technology blogging community @ techreaction.net.
Currently we use Wordpress v2.8.5 for the front-end blogs and VBulletin v3.8 for the forums. No integration between the two after some initial experimentation with some of those wp->vb bridge mods.
When I saw that VBulletin would be releasing a full CMS Suite with 4.0, I decided that it might be time to ditch Wordpress and fully transition to a full VB controlled website. My motivation for this move comes from several reasons including user comfort with the VBulletin code and interface, security of VB vs Wordpress, performance of VB vs WP, and lastly...the desire for one fully integrated user and post database.
My problem is that I already have nearly 200 blog posts and comments generated within Wordpress and more to come every day, as well as over 30+ registered bloggers, some of which have duplicate accounts already in my VBulletin forums.
Finally to my question, is there an easy way to somehow port my WP users and posts into VBulletin 4.0 once it is released? Assuming the answer is no (which I assume it will be), what would be the best and most seamless way for me to go about this?
Thank you so much for your assistance.
Alex
