Hi

I have coded a class that handles ICQ (sending as a raw socket connection and via email) and a yahoo messenger that does the same class for vbulletin (currently trying to get the MSN Messenger working as well).

I have it added next to the email to a friend, it says ICQ to a friend etc.

I was wonderign if you want a feature that would check if the person who posts a message an icon appears next to there name if they are on ICQ/Yahoo etc and if so will le tyou message them.

I have this in beta but it seems to do a nasty old whack on the server, if there is demand for it I will fully intergrate it so it plugs straight into Vbulletin without any hassle. Ill only do this if there is intrest as it will be quite tricky to do all setup etc.

Let me know

Later

Chris

P.S

Oh yeah I will shortly be releasing a WebMail class as well a full flash template system (runs like a dog but is pretty funky).

P.P.S

Another thing i have an abstraction layer that handles MYSQL/POSTGRES/ODBC and flat text files (even detetcs whats on the server and suggests the best option) and if there is an use for it ill release it.

P.P.P.S

How have i got time to code this stuff well I was gonna write the worlds best bulletin board system then i stumbled across Vbulletin. Nuff said

Eeeeehhh, I dunno if you know it, but you have already a online status function for ICQ, Yahoo and AIM in vBulletin!
You just have to remove the comment signs in the certains templates! ;)

I kind of thought there would be but i needed a standalone class anyways for another project and could not ifn dthe vbulletin ones so i done my own.

and i dont know if it posts to each of these servers like my class does (like an instant message kind of thing :)

I found AIM, Yahoo, ICQ but no MSN!

If you can show me were the Vbulletin ones are that would be nice!
