embedded media player mod for -local- files? (attachments)

I'm using a mod that plays YouTube/etc files directly in the post window. 'WOrks great.

But is there a mod I can use like that one, but will play videos that are file attachments ?

I've lost 50% of my YouTube files due to the background music being tagged by Warner Music Group as being copyrighted, and without the music the videos are useless.

It would be great if I could just attach them to the actual post and have users view them with an embedded media player.

Anyone know of a mod that does this?

I'm almost certain that this one (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=202476) followed by this one (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=195884) will get the job done. I just installed both a couple of days ago, and I haven't had time to play with it very much, but I'm 99% certain that part of the documentation said that it had an application for local hosting.
