Two questions regarding vbulletin

i have two forums.One in phpbb and other with smf.I want to convert those into vbulletin now.I have some questions
1.Is it possible to convert those forums in vbulletin without loosing data or posts.
2.My smf forums is mostly accessed by mobile users with mobile browsers like ucweb or operamini.Since in vbulleting the adding attachment window open in new browser so its almost impossible for them to add attachments there with a java browser.So please tell is there any mod by which the adding attachment is like smf means in same window.

1) You would probably use Impex. I've never used it, so I can't be specific on what it can/cannot do. There is a forum over on vb.com just for Impex. You can look through the threads there and ask more specific questions regarding this over there.

2) There was a modification written to allow attachments to be done inline. I tested it once and it worked fine, but I seem to recall other users having problems with it. You can try a search on "attach*" in "all mods" "titles only" and see what comes up.
