Hi,

I am using the skin "Curves" and I am having problems with the Header and Navbar.

The navbar is actually controlled by the header with this skin.

My problems are the following.

When I click Community, Search and/or Quick Links, nothing drops down.

Also, on side of my notifications, I have 2 drop down arrows.

Last problem, when on the homepage, using vBa CMPS, when you login using the login box in the header, you get the following error "The requested URL /login.php was not found on this server." This is because the file is located at /forum/login.php How do I get the header login to look there for the file?

Thanks

Problems with styles (or modifications) need to be posted in the style (or modification) thread. That is where support is given.

The problem is, I don't see a thread about the Curves skin to post in.

That's why I made a post here hoping someone could help me.

In your navbar template copy the content between<!-- nav buttons bar --> and <!-- / nav buttons bar --> then go back to your header template and replace the content with what you just copied from the navbar.

Then go to the website where you got the skin.

Try re uploading the xml file that you used to install the theme. It should fix your issues.

Problem is I don't have the xml anymore :(

I tried the copy and paste suggested above, but still not go.

I have no idea where the skin came from as one of my moderators put it in place.

Any ideas anyone?

My suggestion would be to start keeping backups of all your styles so that when a problem like this occurs, you always have a backup to go back to (Styles & Templates > Download Styles)

Ask your moderator if they have the original skin or if they remember where they got it from.

You can download the skin from your website....
AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles

You see the option download?

Yes I see the download option.

Wouldn't that download the style with the messed up header/navbar that is running live on the forum?

If you can send your downloaded style to me ... may be I can have a look at it and fix it.
