Any way to ignore mods?

Bit of background:

I have a site that has a fairly active NSFW area. I personally don't care about it so I assigned a few of our users to mod that area and that area alone. They have no power anywhere else. But now these people can't be put on anyone else's ignore list.

Is there a way to have them be able to mod a subforum and still be able to be ignored?

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Profile Options -> Allow Users to 'Ignore' Moderators -> Yes
