I've posted about this before on the VB.com forums, but haven't had any success in finding a resolution.
Here's the problem.
My current forum (www.uoforums.com) is for online gamers
Groups of people in game form what's known as "Guilds" and they have the option of asking for a guild forum for their members to post in, on my site
Each private guild forum has a usergroup, with the GM being the Group leader, this allows them the ability to authorise/boot members.
The problem I have is, well, I have in excess of 40 usergroups now and the Forum permissions page is, long, to put it mildly
It frequently crashes my firefox browser when I try and access it, because there's so many forums/usergroups
Is there anyway around this? or perhaps, a way to HIDE the usergroup permissions from view IF the forum is setup as a public forum?
