Sudden change in function. Direct entry to index page via URL reveals a blank page. Size is 0 bytes.

If I use my password program, Roboform, to login it works properly. If I "Forum Home Page" from the control panel, it works properly

config.php seems correct. changed index.html to old_index.html without effect.

Any help would be appreciated.

You've got a few things going on that are wrong... your header and logo don't show up, I get a 404 page when I try to go directly to either.

But anyway, usually that base page is set on the server via an htaccess file or the httpd.conf file (I think that's the one). Have you modified either lately or has your host done any upgrading of the software on the servers lately?

I recently upgraded to 3.8.4. Has happened since then.

Then perhaps you wrote over a file when you uploaded new folders/files that was doing the redirect for you. Do you have a complete backup of all your files where you can compare files you currently have to files you had before the upgrade? (Since your logo and header images are gone, it certainly looks like you wrote over those files, so I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote over others.)
