What Does This Hack Do?hr
Have you ever wondered who rated a thread and what they scored it? Well, you would out of luck with a default vBulletin installation. But, fear not, this hack solves that by displaying who has rated a thread (in a box at the bottom of a thread), and the rating they gave it.

Hovering over a username will show the rating that user gave the thread.

In addition to this, clicking on the [View All] link will launch a separate page that shows how each user rated the thread.

This hack is controlled by usergroup permissions in the AdminCP Options for this hack, there is also an On/Off switch to turn this hack on and off.

The inspiration for this hack came from Paul M's Who Has Read A Thread hack, but instead of who read a thread, it shows who rated a thread.

With this hack people can never rate a thread anonymous again.

Question:
This hack does not display...what's going on?
Answer:
This hack uses the showthread_after_activeusers template hook in the SHOWTHREAD template. This template hook must be present in any customised SHOWTHREAD template or style you are using, otherwise this hack will not display.

vBulletin v3.6.x and v3.7.x do not have this template hook in the SHOWTHREAD template as standard, so it will need to be manually added.

Instructions on how to add the template hook are in the readme.txt instructions file. If you have a customised SHOWTHREAD template or style and the instructions do not work, then I can not help you and you are on your own.

Also ensure you have set the usergroup permissions via the AdminCP Options for this hack.

This is just a minor update, nothing has changed visibly, just changed how it works under the hood (the code is now more efficient). No need to upgrade from v3.8.002 if you do not want to.

Hi all,

It is with regret that after over 4 years (and thousands of hours) spent providing free support for my free hacks released here, as of today I will no longer be able to provide support for free.

This is due to being unemployed for a while, being strapped for cash and unable to rely on the virtually non-existant donations from here to help to pay the bills or put food on the table for my family. It does not mean I will be no longer release free hacks, I will, but I will just no longer be supporting them for free.

I love this mod, but was curious about a potential modification to it.

I was wondering if the code in the XML file could be altered, or if a new mod could be created, so that the "View All" function could instead of showing a new line for each user and their rating, show all users grouped by the star rating. As such:

was wondering if someone could modify it to delete a particular rating?

as it is now, this mod only shows the ratings but deletion is not possible.
