threads that go inactive get hidden

This was asked my a mod on my forum. How can I do this and is there any neg effect to doing it?

On a serious note though, I have noticed that threads that go inactive get hidden. Is there a way to make them stay visable even though no one is posting in them?

Check your Forum Manager > select forum to Edit > Default View Age
