gmail accounts

I am getting at least 1 a day users with @gmail accounts that are purely using my forum to post `spam and useless threads.

It seems quite obvious to me that this is quite easy for this to happen, but is there a way to stop this..

I have read simular posts and threads with this issue.. all help appretiate

Thanks Lynne. I have not done anything at all yet on my forum as I am a newbie and really Just starting out .

I do have access to my domains hosting account, so I could also do things there as well. But would like to action via the vbulletin admin interface if possible..

Well, there are simple things like turning on reCaptcha for registration. Have you done that or what is your option there - vboptions > Human Verification Manager > Human Verification Library

i have all gmail addresses banned along with many others

just fill them in in your vbulletin options>user banning options
