How can i speed up my forum? Now it is very slow and it is no because of the server but because vb!

I made a search and i found these:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=107615&page=12
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=107315&page=18
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=110144&page=17

But none of them are available for 3.8 vb version! Is there something else i can do?

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure it's vB??

I mean... Host? I use everything from HostGator to GoDaddy and tbh GoDaddy resells tooooooo much so one of my forums now is so slow it hurts!

Another thing, have you ran a trace route? Another site I help run had a bad hop and we had to tell the host that!

121 ms ping is causing page timeouts left and right - is there a way to go around the bad hop? Windows Traceroute says Qwest is at fault. Other programs as Houston is at fault.

All I know is it's not always vB either as some tend to jump the gun on experienced coder/programmer/web developer regardless :D.

If you really think it's your vBulletin than you can remove all but the essential plugins, and try installing vb-optimize
but I'm with the person above me, it's more then likely your host.
try upgrading your RAM or CPU
the default vbulletin setup is very well optimized
