Can't make sub-forums??????

Everytime I make a new category or sub-forum I get this error

Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

I finally renamed the category and am able to post in it, but the sub-forums still give that error no matter what????

I am the admin and all permissions are set any advice?????

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Don't forget that for vbseo, disabling the modification means to also get rid of anything extra you added to your htaccess file.
