is there any way i can have it were all threads in a certain forum have the prefix added to them with out having to click on them or require them to do so??

You cannot set a default prefix for a forum. I think you could have to write a plugin to set the prefix using the datamanager if a new thread is made in that forum.

ok - that sounds like its way over my head for a newbie to do. just thought there might have been an easier way.
ok well if i cant do that- is there a way to have my posts show what forum/subforum they are from in the "forums" colum -rather then the name of that fourm?
examle
fruit
-apples
--red
--green
if there is a thread in "green" -
on the home page it shows that there is a new thread from "Green" in the foums collum
is there a way to have it show fruit-apples-green ?? rather then just "Green" show in the forums collum
does this make sence?

That is not a default vbulletin thing either and it would also require you to either write some code and/or modify some templates
