Adsense after last post

I have successfully put Adsense after every first post in thread pages. Now, I'd like adsense after the last post on all thread but I've been unsuccessful.

There seems to be many ways to do this but it's not working for me. Can someone help me out?

Can anyone help me out? As I've mentioned and provided links nothing works. I can't get the Adsense to appear after the last post/before quick reply.

Is $islastshown valid?

I can't believe that no one is not using it after the last post/before quick reply. Everywhere I've looked there are differnet ways of doing it. Which I guess is fine but none are working. :(

Ok, thanks. Obviously it's impossible to have Adsense as I've mentioned.
