removing ewt_statistics table?

I have a table in my vbulletin database called:

ewt_statistics

it contains over 34 million records and is over 4.4 GB BIG!!!

I want to clear this table.. or completely remove it. Is it safe to do???

Or what use does this table have??

That is not a default vbulletin table, so I have no idea what it is for or if it is safe to remove.
