i actually already made my own vb page but good thinking mate ;)
I guess the instructions are:
1.upload "privacy_policy.php" to forum root folder.
2.upload product "product-Adsense-Privacy-Policy.xml"
go to vbulletin options>>T4U Privacy Policy Settings>>On
and then access your new page by going to: yourdomain.com/privacy_policy.php
?????
EDIT: just gave it a test but just get a blank white page.
Privacy Policy On/Off = on
mysite.com/privacy_policy.php = blank white page.
Question: after uploading the xml file, is this meant to create a template??
because i cant find any new templates.

If you delete the privacy.php file it says file no found so it's definitely reading it.

You know you can make it to where your style doesn't have underlines for the links. I have mine like that so it doesn't have that problem and I think it looks better like that anyways.

He says, help contribute, because I am new to this .. basically.
Then later he says, if you can't get it to work, give me your login and I will install it for you. While .. it was a bug ..
Eh - no thanks. I will never share my admin rights with someone, especially, new to coding vb plugins. No offense, just posting this as a fair warning to others who participate in this thread.
That said, good start, and I will wait a bit longer before using this on my live site, so bugs can be fixed, etc.

Please learn vBulletin a bit more, uncached templates are your product problem, and has nothing to do with the link you provided or whatever.

define('THIS_SCRIPT', 'privacy');
This should be the filename, minus the .php
If your file is privacy_policy.php, then that should be
define('THIS_SCRIPT', 'privacy_policy');
Floris

In the footer of your php file you have this:
eval('print_output("' . fetch_template('T4U_privacy') . '");');
But in the header you have this:
$globaltemplates = array(
'privacy',
);
Please make sure it is either one or the other.
Cache the right template, and name it correctly.
Important tip of a plugin release for the public: take your time to write it, test it, read through it, and get help during development.

And I looked at the .xml file, all the English text is in there, it doesn't remote grab it from Google, (so always outdated version), so I rather have this as a group of phrases.
This way it can be translated for the arab, france, etc forums, who might have different rules for Adsense due to country laws, etc.
The text is currently hard coded.

Sorry you misunderstood.
The underscore continues from mod to privacy policy
It should look like "archive - top"Its the way its been coded in the xml, the coder replaces the mod link with mod and T4U so they appear together.
The simple solution is to go to your plugin manager and disable this T4U Privacy Policy its the bit of code that parses the Mod link to add the policy link, once you have done that simply go to vbulletin options>Site Name / URL / Contact Details>Privacy Statement URL and enter http://www.yoursite.com/forum/privacy_policy.php replacing yoursite with your domain and forum with your forums folder name.

A Privacy statement is different than a privacy policy
1 - is an agreement we abide by meaning your own forum
2 - is information for customers to understand what is expected of you as a browser or registered member

Simon, its simply a work around as you coded the link to be parsed along with the mod link, however a fix from you would be very much appreciated :)
EDIT: of course you can search in phrases for privacy_statement and change the default text to Privacy Policy :)

Just to fix the part that introduces the link to the footer, you need to do it without removing and then re-adding the mod link, its a great mod with a minor but irritating bug!
The fixes i've explained here i've used on my site but i'd much rather the mod be complete :)

this MOD looks for a code in the footer, if you have changed the footer or removed links it will not work
in your footer look for
<if condition="$show['modcplink']"><a href="$modcpdir/index.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[mod]</a> -</if>
underneath this code add
<if condition="$vboptions['T4U_pri']"><a href="$vboptions/privacy_policy.php">$vbphrase[privacy_policy]<a> -</if>
also you may need to install
[B]Requirements
Template Modification System (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=152931) 1.1.5

Then I added this to the footer:

That worked great i dont know why it didnt do it automaticlt like when i first installed it.

as long as you have submitted you site details as shown above
google will review your site and tell you if you are not complying with their policy
Follow these guidelines to get started if you havent done so
Submit it to Google at http://www.google.com/addurl.html (http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl).
Submit a Sitemap (http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=40318) using Google Webmaster Tools (http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/). Google uses your Sitemap to learn about the structure of your site and to increase our coverage of your webpages.

Here is ours http://www.cause4chaos.com/forums/privacy_policy.php
with our style having the $footer in the table it totally messes it up, having it inside the table you can not resize the text area, I took it out of the table and placed it at the end and looks well to me, I am not a coder and have only limited knowledge of this stuff, but it works :-)
the image that looks messed up is the $footer inside the table, and the other is outside
I use fixed on my site

Tested 3.2.5b
Looks great and see no funtional issues on IE i will test on FF when i get home from work.
The only change was the image correct? Google says you have to use this image https://www.google.com/adsense/static/images/google_sm.gif?
Just wanting to make sure i am seeing everything the way it should be.

If you get a problem like "no link at the bottom of the site."
Just open the ".XML" file and remove the "TM" mark.
Then uninstall and install again.
