My website is basically here for gamers to review games they've played, or come to get suggestions for games to try. It's also there for general video game discussion.

What I am looking for in a review is ideas to make the site more user friendly, easier to use, pretty on th eyes, and things that will help draw more people to the site. Or, ideas on how to better implement the idea of having gamers come together for discussion and reviews.

One thing that I have not yet purchased, but will be very soon, is the product ReviewPost. This will make a database for reviews that is MUCH easier to handle. Keep this in mind.

I really like that cartoon, but the width of your header not matching and the fact that it's centered throws things off quite a bit. You should also work on the general colors and css of your skin. I picture that logo on a white/blue skin primarily, with hints of both red and green.

Poor selection of text and background colors. There is not enough contrast and make the site difficult to read. Black background and blue text does not work. Unless there is a high contrast between the two colors.

The header image is too big - 123.13 KB (126080 bytes). The entire homepage should not be larger then 100kb, and just the header image is that much. Convert that jng to jpeg and reduce the resolution a little bit. Maybe even reduce the height. The header image does not need to be any larger then about 20 - 30kb

The meta description is too long and needs to be reworked.

<meta name="description" content="Gamingitis is where people who are addicted to gaming come not to find a cure, but to feed into their addiction by reading and writing reviews for other gamers to find their next fix." />

Your first targeted keyword "gaming" is the 9th word, it needs to be more like one of the first 3 words.

The description is full of trash words as well - "is, who, are, to, not, to, find, a, into, their" - all of those words need to be removed. Targeted keywords only and as few trash words as possible.

The big header is not doing it for me on every page, it takes up a good bit of space, limiting the amout of content that you can have above the fold.

Not mad on the black/blue scheme my self

Tagline 'Where Gamers Don't Let Gamers Play Bad Games' is catchy, but a bit long winded.

Reduce the amout of quite forums until you get busty e.g is there a need for 3 news fourms?

Gamers Helping Gamers would be a good Tagline...
The site skin is a little plan IMO...
The logo is alright, you maybe should add more to it...
Your variety of forums IMO aren't enough for what you are shooting for, I do not run gaming forums, but maybe you should ask your members what other types of forums you need?
