This is kind of a idea for the hatchery but as im not a designer/coder i can't make a topic there ;)
Soooooo....there is a facebook app, there is a myspace app, for smartphones (blackberry, iphone, etc)
Can we get a add-on, plugin, that can make a "app" for a vBulletin site?
I understand there is a lot that goes into even getting the appropriate license and what not to develop for apple, but even if it were for BB, that would be awesome.
Thoughts? Opinions? Feasibility? Anyone?

hmm your question is kind of not clear, BB codes only accept HTML

TapATalk is probably the best solution. Free for vB admins to install the plugin on the board, non-free app for the ipod/iphone.

i saw that before, im a blackberry guy myself, and would love to see a blackberry app available. iphones are great and all, but that service is rather limiting in that respect.

We are working on the Tapatalk Android version and as soon as it is released we will look into Blackberry.

not to be argumentative, and it is great you are working on expanding, but with the market share that BB has, and the number of users, I would have thought it would be first....or at least before android....
crackberry.com is a good example, you would make A LOAD of money if you made a bb app and sold it for a dollar even...just on that 1 site.

Hi Caddyman,
Yah I hear where you coming from and we are aware the popularity of BB in America and has taken note to re-prioritize it.
From development perspective since Android and BB shares the same programming language I expect the time to be spent on BB would be a lot shorter than develop it from ground up. Please stay with us for next few months to see it unfold. :)
