Mod CP with Admin CP abilities?

I can't seem to find, anywhere in the world wide web, a modification to change the Mod CP slightly.

I need my moderators to be able to change the user groups of certain users.

Does anyone know of a modification or code extract that, upon implementation, will achieve this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

What you could do is make a special group (or if you just want to do it for the entire moderators group) and allow them to access the admincp. BUT - only give them access to editing users.

I have this set up already as a temporary fix but I still prefer, like most, that admin CP be untouched by anyone except admin (and Global moderators).

Is there no other way? :)

Hoping to find an alternative answer. Any other ideas? Would one need to change Mod CP templates or is there a pre-made modification I can install? :)

(I read the rules in regard to bumping. No more than twice a week and none after 24 hours. Hope this is within those rules)
